Dear Dancing Soul
This training is for you if:
— You feel called to move beyond drop-in classes into a deeper, more embodied way of holding space
— You know that music can open portals—and you want to learn how to guide with clarity and care
— You long to understand how to work with the nervous system, energy, and the unseen dynamics of the dance floor
— You’re ready to lead from your body—not from performance, but from presence
— You want to offer movement spaces that are trauma-informed, inclusive, and deeply transformational
— You desire to grow your voice, your vision, and your capacity to hold space with integrity
This is not just a training. It’s a turning point.
A recalibration of how you listen, lead, and love—through movement, music, and embodied trust.
We have had 100’s of STUDENTS THROUGH OUR TRAININGS
And we humbly continue to study in our own fields of expertise.
Who You’ll Be Learning From
This training is led by Sarsha Hope, Stephen Blase, and guest facilitators with decades of experience in somatic movement, dance therapy, trauma-informed facilitation, and conscious leadership.
Together, we’ve designed and delivered teacher trainings, workshops, and retreats across the globe—always with a commitment to integrity, depth, and embodied presence.
Our team of facilitators and DJs holds dance spaces in communities around the world. When you complete this training, you don’t just walk away with skills—you become part of a living, global network of like-minded practitioners devoted to conscious dance as a path of healing and transformation.
We teach not just with our voices, but with our bodies.
You’ll be learning from facilitators who live this work, and who will meet you with guidance, honesty, and deep care.
Somatic Dance is a training technology for the mind and soul—one that evolves you toward your most coherent, embodied, and multidimensional self.
You’ll leave equipped to hold potent, trauma-informed, energetically attuned dance spaces—and supported by an international team as you step into your own unique expression.
I no longer pray—
I let my ancestors dance
through my hips
at the slightest provocation.

Epic Assistants.
We are blessed to have incredible assistants from all around the world for these trainings. Each assistant has undergone their own transformative journey and has since gone on to lead dances around the globe.
This is the 2nd time we have run this training in Bali, and we are excited to share that this marks the 10th time we have run this training overall. As the global leading edge in somatics and dance, we intentionally limit the number of participants to ensure the development of high-quality facilitators. Our faculty and assistants are highly experienced and deeply understand how embodied ecstatic dance experiences can create healing and transformative change in people’s lives. Are you ready to stand beside us and spread this gift into the world?
The SPACE
Our training is held at The Yogi’s Garden, they offer a unique experience of “the real Bali” at their private retreat, wellness and educational centre set within a working farm less than an hour from bustling Ubud.
FAQ
-
The retreat centre is called: Yogis Garden. Situated 1 hour drive from Ubud.
The nearest airport is in Denpasar.
You will need to get a GRAB taxi or shuttle. (own expense)
Yogi's garden does provide a driver for a cost that we can organise for you, you would just need to organise a meeting point for them to collect you. From the airport it is IDR 550k and from UbudIDR 300k. Even on your own, that is cheap, but way more fun to arrive as a group.
If you haven't already, get the GRAB App for getting yourself around shorter distances, so easy to jump on the back of a scooter with these guys, but you can get a car as well.
We recommend you arrive in ubud / Bali a few days before training starts to settle.

For Bali, most travelers from eligible countries, including the U.S., U.K., Australia, and others, can enter visa-free for up to 30 days for tourism purposes. However, this visa-free entry is non-extendable, so you must leave the country by the 30th day or face penalties.
If you think you might want to extend your stay beyond 30 days, you can opt for a Visa on Arrival (VOA), which is valid for 30 days and can be extended for an additional 30 days by applying at an immigration office in Bali. The VOA costs $35 USD and can be paid on arrival at the airport or applied for online in advance for a faster entry process
If you’re staying strictly within the 30 days, visa-free entry will suffice. Make sure your passport is valid for at least six months beyond your date of entry.
-
Sim Card: You can get that at the airport or I use Airalo when travelling. It's an App that you can download and buy E-sim cards with, again it will save you time.
You can use cards in Bali but cash is best. Get cash out at the airport as they don't charge you conversion fees there. Of course, having a WISE card is also best when travelling to avoid high conversion fees.
-
Yogi’s Garden is situated in the mountains/jungle, and is quite remote. Because of this, we would recommend bringing some snacks with you (of course we provide meals)
Because we are in the mountains, there can be quite a chill in the morning and evenings. Please bring some warm things / shawl / blankets for practice.
Comfortable clothing that you can practice free movement in
A drink bottle
A journal and pen
An Open Mind
"Stop acting so small. You are the universe in ecstatic motion.”
